If I want to lose weight, perform activities of daily living, decrease my risk for chronic diseases and cancer, etc., how much physical activity do I really need?

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention offers two types of physical activity you should perform each week to improve your health with the desired time/frequency: aerobic activity and muscle-strengthening activities.
