What characteristics are needed to perform activities of daily living?
Sure, most of you are young and have no issues performing activities of daily living, such as carrying laundry, raking leaves, or vacuuming; however, as you age, these may not be as easy, especially if you do not maintain a healthy level of physical activity.
Physical activities and exercise help you increase your endurance, strength, balance and flexibility and thus perform activities of daily living, notably when you become old. Consider helping elders close to you find ways to perform these activities.
