Skill Related Components of Fitness Assessments

The ability of the body to move or change direction quickly.

  • Illinois Agility Run
  • Shuttle Run Test

The ability to maintain a state of equilibrium or stay in control of body movement.

  • Stork Balance Stand Test
  • Star Excursion Balance Test

The ability to integrate sense and body parts to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.

  • Wall-Toss Test

The ability to perform quickly and rapidly.

  • 40 Yard Dash
  • 100m Sprint
Reaction Time

The amount of time it takes to respond to a stimulus.

  • Ruler Drop Test
