7. Application Assignments

Free

  • Working with your instructor’s advice if needed, devise a new/different workout routine (using body weight, medicine ball, kettle bell, etc. instead of free weights/machines) to be performed at least one time outside of class. Log your workout and include a reflection [on the quality/choice of that workout, how you can modify that workout in the future]. Submit: a picture, log of the workout, and a 2-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
  • Choose a friend/workout partner and go to Ramsey or another workout facility outside of class for a workout with the machines/free weights. Develop at least 3-5 questions to ask your instructor, related to your workout experience. Submit: a picture and log of workout, and a document with related questions in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
  •  Create a series of pictures or a (short) instructional video that could be beneficial to the Activity course content. Submit: pictures or a video in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
  • Participate in Club Team weightlifting or powerlifting practice/competition. Submit: a picture and screenshot of team roster in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)

Additional course-related opportunities need approval and can be proposed to the instructor.
