6. Application Assignments

Free

• Go to the IM field at least 1 time outside of class and play ultimate with friends or a pickup game. Submit: a picture (include details of type of game, location and time) and a 1-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
• Using an open field, choose a friend to go focus on some of the key aspects of ultimate (throwing/manipulation of frisbee, catching, spacing, strategy, etc.). Submit: a picture (include details of type of game, location and time) and a 1-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
• Create a Facebook group and organize an event in which you invite friends to play ultimate during the week or on the weekend. Submit: a screenshot of the social media event, picture of play, and a 1-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
• Choose an area of campus and play Frisbee golf.   Learning how to manipulate the Frisbee around obstacles will help your Ultimate game. Submit: a picture (include details of type of game, location and time) and a 1-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)

Charged

• Participate in Intramural or Club ultimate. Submit: a screenshot of team roster in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)

Additional course-related opportunities need approval and can be proposed to the instructor.
