Risks
When it comes to backpacking and the outdoors, what potential risks should I be aware of?
As with any activity, there are inherent risks associated with backpacking. For example, health concerns, changing weather conditions, trail confusion, insects, and wildlife. It is important to plan ahead of time and check for the conditions you will encounter, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to reach your intended destination, and overall try and keep it simple.

LNT is a set of principles that help guide our behavior when recreating outside. It is a set of ethics that keep us from making too much of an impact on our natural environment. The seven principles include:
