7. Application Assignments
Free
- Working with your instructor’s advice if needed, devise a new workout routine to be performed at least one time outside of class, log your workout, and include a reflection [on the quality/choice of that workout, and how you can modify that workout in the future]. Submit: a picture, log of the workout, and a 2-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
- Working with your instructor’s advice if needed, perform a mixture of cardio and weight training at least one time outside of class, log your workout, and include a reflection [on the quality/choice of that workout, and how you can modify that workout in the future]. Submit: a picture, log of the workout, and a 2-paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
- Play a pickup game of some physical activity at least one time outside of class: basketball, football, baseball, ultimate, volleyball, etc. Submit: a picture (include details of type of game, location, and time) and paragraph reflection in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
- Attend a (group fitness) class at Ramsey during “Free week.” Submit: a picture and additional documentation (i.e., fitness pass) in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
- Create a series of pictures or a (short) instructional video that could be beneficial to the myActivity course content. Submit: pictures or a video in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
Charged
- Go to a $1 Body Composition Assessment Attend a Group Fitness class (either in Ramsey or elsewhere). Submit: a picture and additional documentation (i.e., fitness pass) in the Application Assignment Dropbox (eLC)
