6. Equipment and Attire
- Clothing: Street clothes ARE permitted for this class. Use your best judgment in terms of what you are comfortable moving in. No long skirts or flared pants.
- Footwear: Tap shoes are required by the third day of class. No exceptions! Please see ELC for tap shoe options.
- Secure hair: Tie back long hair to prevent distractions and maintain a clean line. Long hair should be pulled back and securely fastened so that you can dance at your best.
- Minimize accessories: Avoid wearing jewelry that could get caught or be distracting.
- Layers: Consider wearing layers that can be adjusted to regulate body temperature during warm-up and cool-down.
- Hygiene: Maintain good personal hygiene and consider bringing a towel or a change of clothes for after class.
