4. Course Structure

  1. Class will begin with a warm-up to increase heart rate, move the blood to the major muscles, and engage balance, coordination and dynamic stretching, and mental focus.
  2. We will then work on technique via standing or floor exercises, to deeper and longer exercises, to locomotor exercises through the full space.
  3. Class will culminate in either a combination or an improvisational structure (or combination) to apply the new steps and techniques we have learned.
  4. A brief cool-down will conclude each class.
